Last year members of U3A Marina Baixa raised €2289 for the benefit of local charitable causes. The money was raised from the raffles held at their monthly meetings and from the proceeds of the Olde Tea Shoppe stand at the Alfaz and La Nucía International Days. Sincere thanks are given to the members for their generosity in purchasing raffle tickets and donating prizes.
After the meeting 26 enjoyed a 4-course lunch at the Oasis, La Nucía. The next meeting will be on 26 February and will be held in the Restaurant at Camping Villamar due to refurbishment of the Auditorium at the Casa de Cultura.
