2 med onions finely chopped
2 tspn of garlic paste
2 tspn of ginger paste
2 tspn of chilli powder
50ml natural yoghurt
2 tspn garam masala
2 tspn ground coriander
50ml cooking cream
1 tspn salt or as required
2 tbpn of oil
7/8 pieces of chicken
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, fry the onions until golden,
add the garlic paste, ginger paste, chilli powder, garam masala,
coriander, salt and the butter and stir on a medium heat.
Add the chicken pieces, stir well and cook until it is nearly cooked
then add yoghurt, water and the cooking cream. Cook on a low/
medium heat for 15 minutes or until cooked.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.
Butter chicken is a mild dish however you can increase the chilli
powder, garlic and ginger paste to taste.
