The shop opened its doors in June and since then has been very popular with the Teulada locals and international clientele from up and down the coast.
It was set up by Barbara and Dennis Carrier and their team of willing volunteers to help support Make A Smile's projects including sponsorships for further education, grants, apprenticeships, birthday presents and extra-curricular activities.
As Emaus closed its doors at the end of June, the new company “Salud y Comunidad” are providing all basic needs for the children and mentally challenged youngsters in Relleu, however like most associations, they are very interested in receiving support from the local community and are fully behind Make A Smile's projects.
At the charity shop, you can find many items for the home, a large collection of clothes, books and a myriad of quality goods for a fraction of the price of the high street.
The shop is situated at the bottom of the dual carriageway in Teulada and is open from 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
