Careline Theatre: From age 4 upwards, 18 pupils of Careline Performing Arts and Dance Academy (plus a few adults) are performing 'The Lion King' on Saturday 5 May at 3pm and 8pm in Alcalali. Adante Classical Choir: This is a new choir situated on the Costa Blanca South. Encouraged by the success of their Carol concerts last December, they will be performing classical choral concerts on 21 April, 8.30pm at the Los Montesinos Church and 22 April, 7.30pm at the Benijófar Church. Entrance is free with bucket collections for local charities. They rehearse Thursday evenings in Benijófar Church, 7pm until 9pm. Stagestruck: The group are currently rehearsing their brand-new comedy show ‘A Jack to a King’. Set in London’s East End in the sixties, the setting is in a rundown pub were there are plenty of locals with a dodgy past or curious way of life. Performance will be 17, 18 and 19 May. Tickets 8€. Studio32: The group are well into rehearsals for their next major show, the Broadway hit ‘Chicago’.
