The Calpe and Benissa Lions were delighted to invite their shop volunteers to a delicious lunch at Antica Roma in Calpe. They thanked the group for all their hard work during 2024.

Through theirs and the Lions members efforts, the shop made over 30,000€ last year. Of the 30,000€, just under 26,000€ was donated to charity. These donations include 3 that help local families in need, 4,466€ to Caritas Calpe, 3,600€ to Caritas Benissa, and 4,000€ to Caritas Calpe. The 52 disabled children in the Gargasindi College received from Father Christmas gifts, worth a total of 1,500€, and a bouncy castle entertained them during their Christmas Party organised by our Lions. So far we have sent 4,500€ for the Valencian relief fund. We are now helping students in the Benissa Insitute, buying equipment and musical instruments.

Calpe and Benissa Lions Fashion Show

We are in the process of organising our main event of the year, the Calpe and Benissa Lions Fashion Show, which will take place on the 6th of June in El Toro restaurant.

Chartity Shop

Every day in the shop at Carrer Pintor Sorolla, 15, Calpe, you will find at least one Calpe and Benissa Lion working alongside the volunteers. A warm welcome always awaits you.
