Although we’re leaving the busy summer season behind us, the team at Cancer Care Jávea is as busy as ever, running two shops and an online furniture warehouse serving the Marina Alta community. Funds raised by our activities go directly to supporting a dedicated team of Lynwen nurses who provide local care and support, totally free of charge, for cancer patients and their families.
Thanks to your generous ongoing support, we’re delighted to announce that we now have no less than four nurses as well as a translator – an achievement that we’re really proud of. If you are in any way affected by cancer, sympathetic help and support is on hand. We encourage you to contact our lead nurse Jayne on 722684093.
Our two retail stores between them offer a wide variety of high class ladies clothing and menswear, fashion accessories, jewellery, household items and small electrical items. Our main Cancer Care Chic Boutique sells high quality, new or as-new ladies wear and designer goods, handbags and fashion accessories. The boutique is situated at the Plaza Avinguda del Pla 122 and is open Mondays to Saturdays, 10.00 to 1.30 pm. (Tel. 965 79 68 46). New customers are always welcome, so do make a point of calling in to look around! You might find a bargain at the same time!
Our newly-refurbished store at Cancer Care Jávea Charity Shop at Avinguda de Paris 8 (tel. 965 79 01 29) offers a selection of ladies and gents clothing, books, small electricals and bric-a-brac. The shop is located behind Humpty Dumpty and is open 10:00 – 1.00 pm. Christine, our hard-working store manager, welcomes old and new clients, so do drop in to see us.

If you’ve no further use for any furniture, sofas, large mirrors, tables, beds or any other larger domestic furnishings, then please bear Cancer Care Jávea in mind. Wherever possible, our trusty delivery man Mike Henry and his team will gladly collect your unwanted items, free of charge. Our furniture warehouse is located on the N332, but please note that viewing is by arrangement only – simply contact 722 589 908.
