Crescendo International Choir Charity Concert

Cresendo International Choir Charity concert

Crescendo International Choir Charity Concert at the Benijofar Catholic Church Saturday evening, June 7, raised over 300 euros for the local food bank.

Many local area residents attended, including the Mayor of Benijofar. “We welcome the support of friends and neighbours as their presence at our concerts has allowed us to continue singing and raising money through raffles and bucket collections for this, our 21st, year,” said Robin Myers, Crescendo Choir’s President. “We were delighted to put on this concert as it demonstrates the coming together of business and community in music, whilst supporting good causes.”
Mark Harrison, Managing Partner of Seagate Wealth Management, based in Benijofar, sponsored the concert, which enabled all funds raised to be donated to the Benijofar food bank. Belen Martinez-Ortiz, owner of Rincon de Mateo, another Benijofar-based business, supported Crescendo Choir by bringing coffee, tea and biscuits for the audience to enjoy after the concert for a small donation. She then donated this money to support the choir’s efforts to give free concerts to support local community causes.
If you are interested in getting involved in Crescendo, you are invited to come to one of their rehearsals. After a summer break, rehearsals will begin again September 8 at Rincon de Miguel in Los Montesinos and will be held Monday from 17:30 to 19:45. All singers are welcome.
