Rojales Pantomime Group: Following the huge success of our Red Riding Hood 2025 production, the scriptwriter, Alison Clough, is gathering material to start writing the first draft of the 2026 panto script. The title is still under wraps but we can announce that Julia Parker will once again be directing and weaving her magic! Our plans are ambitious and we aim to raise the standard even higher, but to do that we need enthusiastic people to join our friendly group to either audition for a role; join backstage crew; making props, scenery, costumes etc. However, if you are unable to help with the above, we are always grateful for your support by attending our shows. Your support is paramount to us helping our charities. Contact us on: dw2024rojalespanto@gmail.com.
The Stagestruck Players are busy this year with Murder Mysteries currently booked up to May 2026. The group meet weekly to rehearse so that they are able to change the scripts regularly. Some scripts require fancy dress and our last event for 2025 at the New Ship, Hispaniola, Torrevieja was no exception with a Christmas Pantomime theme. The evening was great fun and a huge success for our charity, with an amazing total of €600 being raised. In the same month, we made our annual donation of €5500 to the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association. If you are interested in finding out where and when we are performing, email Leigh at leigh.humphries58@gmail.com and ask to be added to the Stagestruck Player’s Mailing list.
