The Entertainers Open the Summer Picnic Season at Los Arcos

The Entertainers have had a busy pre-season learning new songs and practising their act, so with four or five new songs each and twenty-five new routines for the Dollies the band was more than ready to entertain us with their songs and dance when they started the summer picnic season at Los Arcos.
Regrettably the weather had not read the script, so on Friday 23rd May torrential rain forced the Denia U3A Hog Roast to be moved inside the Los Arcos Restaurant, Pedreguer. Cazzie Millington, U3A Vice President & Event Organiser, welcomed the members of the Asprosdeco day centre in Denia, whose wonderful work was being sponsored by the event, together with other Cruz Roja Española initiatives. As the wonderful hog roast was served she invited The Entertainers onto the stage.
From the very first moment they hit us with new song after new song and a super Motown Medley to bring the show to a close.
Two weeks later the Entertainers were back, and this time in the garden on Wednesday 11th June for 125 guests at MABS Javea’s fund-raising picnic. MABS Cancer Support Group have Support Centres and shops throughout the region in Javea, Alfaz del Pi and Mazarron. The Entertainers performed a wide variety of songs with different singers offering something for everyone. To cap off this wonderful evening MABS Javea confirmed that €1,800 had been raised to add to their funds for their Cancer Support teams.
WOW – summer picnic season is really here and I can’t wait for more occasions to party!!!
