Walk Your Way Well August 2025

Walking your way wellThe Calm Before the Autumn Storm with Niamh O’Sheehan
As the sun blazes through the long days of July and August, life in the Walk Your Way Well community takes on a slower pace. The intense heat of summer means group walks and wellness gatherings are paused – it’s simply too hot to gather en masse, and safety always comes first.
But just because the community calendar is quieter doesn’t mean we stop moving. You’ll still find me, Niamh – your positive psychology coach and walking enthusiast – out and about early in the morning or later in the evening, making the most of the cooler hours to get in my daily steps. I know many of you are doing the same – walking at dawn, swimming at dusk, taking life a little slower, but still honouring your wellbeing.
This season, I like to think of summer as “the calm before the autumn storm.” A gentle pause. A chance to rest, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves before we ramp up again. And ramp up we will!
From September onwards, Walk Your Way Well will return with a full calendar of uplifting, engaging and energising events. Expect:
Scenic group walks – Heartfelt chats and wellness talks – Mindful movement and excursions in nature – Opportunities to explore, connect, and care for yourself.
The focus, as always, will be on movement, connection, and self-kindness – values that guide everything we do.
If you’d like to be kept in the loop, we’ve made it easy: Join the “Walk Your Way Well Alerts” WhatsApp group – an info-only space where I post updates about upcoming events, no chat or noise. Message me today +34 676 507 791.
So for now, keep moving in your own way. Keep cool, keep well – and know that I’ll be right here, planning a beautiful season of events to help us all walk our way well through autumn and beyond.
