From time to time we all suffer from tired, dry eyes that just need a little TLC. Too much time in front of the computer, late nights, certain medications, allergies, dry eye syndrome and blepharitis are just some of the causes, but thankfully most can be managed by using drops, creams, lid washes or a combination of all three.
At Opticas InterVision Expert we have a new brand of treatments to help manage and alleviate uncomfortable symptoms from dry eye, blepharitis, irritation, hay fever, conjunctiva and eyelid inflammation, and to help reduce the appearance of bags and dark circles in tired eyes.
Symptoms can be mild, moderate or severe, and involve the eye itself and/or the eyelids. Commonly patients will complain of blurred vision, red or watery eyes, lid swelling, gritty or burning sensation or the feeling that there’s something in the eye.
There are other causes that can give similar symptoms; therefore, it is recommended that you have a check with one of our Optometrists to determine the cause, they can then devise a suitable treatment plan and recommend the most suitable drops or creams.
Conditions such as dry eye and blepharitis are chronic, therefore management is continuous, and as all eye drops consist of different components, it is important to continue with the same ones if you find they are helping.
