After more than half a century of serving Jávea and beyond, this dynamic duo of companies has moved into stunning new premises, marking an exciting new chapter in their story.
The SolCar story began 51 years ago, when Antonio and Christiane started with just five rental cars on Balcón al Mar. Fast forward to today, and their children, Vanessa and Sergio, now lead a thriving rental business boasting around 150 vehicles – from luxury models and electric cars to vans and scooters. SolCar has become a household name in Jávea for reliability, friendly service and that personal touch that only a family-run company can deliver.
The new SolCar location doesn’t just mean more space – it’s also home to a new on-site cleaning and valeting facility, ensuring every car that leaves the depot is gleaming and ready for adventure. It’s yet another example of how SolCar continues to evolve while keeping the same values of care and quality that started it all.
Sharing the new premises is the family’s other business, Jambo Travel. Established back in 1987, Jambo Travel brings the same family warmth and attention to detail to the world of holidays and travel planning. Whether it’s a dream cruise, a complex itinerary or simply a flight, train or coach ticket, Vivi, Cristina and the team provide the kind of personal service that big online agencies just can’t match.
