As promised, an update about the two Grand Christmas Fayres at Salones Carrasco, Camí Cabanes, 15, 03730 Jávea on 2nd and 23rd November 2025, in aid of The Friends of The Children of EMAUS, supporting children in care across our region.
With over 90 stalls both inside and on the terrace, weather permitting, there will be something for everyone: from candles to pottery, cosmetics to chic clothing accessories and crystals, toys and games, bespoke Christmas cards, a huge variety of jewellery, incredible art work, crochet, knitting, jams , honey, cakes, sweet treats and wine, Christmas decorations and gifts for every pocket and every age.
We’re delighted to host a few local charities, selling their new personalised gifts and their bespoke crafts to raise funds, much needed by them. Charities working together, really can make a difference.
There is entertainment across both fayres, too, so these events really are not to be missed!
Doors open at 11am, with 1€ entry which includes a paper bag from our sponsors, Ale Hop, for your purchases. Children enter for free.
For those arriving early, the bar will be serving a great range of food and drinks which can be enjoyed in the restaurant.
Santa will open the fayre with our sponsors at 11am, and will go directly to his grotto until 11.45am. He will return at 12.30pm until 2pm. The cost is 2€ per child which includes a gift, a chance for photos, a chat with Santa and the elves and the chance to post that all important letter in the magic post box!
Simona will be running a colouring competition for the little ones near the grotto from 11am, with story telling from her children’s book “Good Pixie, Bad Pixie” in English and Spanish at 12.45pm until 1.30pm, then 2pm until 2.30pm, entertainment permitting.
Gemma from Vives PONS will, once again, be running a chocolate hamper raffle at the fayre on 2nd Nov, and a “Guess the number of balloons ” competition at the fayre on 23rd Nov – 1€ to enter with the money going to charity.
Also, for the children, there’s a ” guess the name of the dinosaur”, to win the soft toy dinosaur by Charlie Bears. 1€ per guess. This will be running across both fayre dates.
There’s a hamper raffle at each fayre, with goodies for Christmas, as well as a few vouchers. Across both fayres will be a ” Pamper Hamper” raffle, with treats to pamper yourself with. At 1€ a ticket it’s well worth getting a few.
On the terrace from 10.30am, The Jukes , The Jamming Ukaleles of El Verger, will be performing until 1pm, raising money for their charities, The Salvation Army and Helping Hands.
At 11.45am The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir will be performing in the restaurant. Do not miss the experience of hearing this fabulous choir.
At 2.30pm, Pam Small and her dancers will perform on the terrace, if dry, and inside the restaurant if the weather turns.
Members of Caprice and The Montgo Chorale, led by Aileen Lightfoot, will be performing on the terrace, weather permitting, at 2pm, then inside in the main hall at 2.30pm.
On 23rd November only, we have John Woods and Millie Victoria Eliis, who together are “Autumn Leaves” performing in the restaurant from 2pm.
The fayre closes its doors at 5pm.
