The asociacion modelismo naval Torrevieja, or as we would say, the Torrevieja model boat and ship club is holding its annual exhibition this month. This annual event is in the rooms at the top of the Park of Nations and runs from the 6th to 25th of April.
On display will be static and radio controlled models of a great many types, from period sailing ships to modern yachts, and pleasure cruisers to modern warships. If you’d like to see the models on the water, sailing will be on Sunday mornings from around 10.30 am, with a regatta on the 13th of April at 11.30 am.
If you have young ones, there is an opportunity for them to sail a specially made radio control model boat on Sunday 20th of April at 12, midday.
Opening times are Tuesday to Friday from 4.30pm to 7.30pm and on Saturdays an additional opening from 10.30am until 1.30pm. Sundays will be morning times only.
This is one of the biggest and best model boat exhibitions in Spain and well worth a visit.
