Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of inspirational or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. Now would be a great time to contact Philip on 638 734 285 and he will be happy to give you all the details about the choir. They rehearse on a Monday morning 10:45 to 13:00 and will be happy to welcome you.
Canto Mundial are a truly international choir, based in Alfaz del Pí, with members from several different nations. The group sings a wide range of music from Classical to Musical Theatre in multiple languages. All rehearsals are conducted in English. Caprice ladies choir is delighted to have helped raise almost 3,000€ for local charities in their last three concerts. They are now working on the songs for their concerts next Spring. The choir’s next full concerts will be in March 2026. More information from our website:

Careline Theatre: Rehearsals for our panto are going swimmingly well! The Little Mermaid will be on stage at BENIDOLEIG Auditorium in January. It is for everyone to enjoy, with panto classic ‘gags’ and “Slapstick” comedy, music, song and dance. Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: November was a busy month for the choir with 2 concerts at the Xmas Fayre in Salones Carasco, an orchestral concert in St Bartholome Church Javea and our Band Concert in the Torrevieja region. Again our December programme features several important performances in aid of worthwhile charities. 5 December – 19h30 free entry, Christmas lights turning on at the Moraira Church Square. 10 December – 20h30 free entry, Christmas Concert at Benitachell Church – retiring collection in aid of EMAUS Children. 14 December – 18h00 free entry, Lions Christmas Carols Concert at the Moraira Church Square accompanied by Kirsty Glenn and soloist Julia Bless. We are pleased to confirm that the new date for Music Overload is 31 January 2026. We’re also excited to share that some new groups are joining the line-up. If you already hold tickets for the original performance, they will remain valid for the new date. Javea Players: Be prepared to be provoked by Doubt, a Parable. Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, it masterfully pits certainty against ambiguity with razor-sharp dialogue and memorable characters. Doubt – a Pulitzer prize-winning drama – invites the audience to wrestle with their own beliefs. Phoenix Dancers: December is a wonderfully busy month for the Phoenix Dancers, as we spread festive joy with performances all around the Costa Blanca before taking a well-deserved Christmas break. If you love to dance, sing, or create costumes and would like to be part of our vibrant performance team, we’d love to hear from you! The Vall del Pop Singers are currently inviting new singers to join them on Tuesday afternoons in Alcalalí. There is no requirement to read music and the group sing a selection of popular songs. ACTS: Halloween was indeed magical for ACTS Community theatre. Our Murder Mystery production, “ The Thing in the Cellar” was spookily successful. Performed at Silverstones Algorfa we had over 70 attendees to the event. Folk entered into the spirit of things with some amazing fancy dress costumes. The performance and raffle raised funds for Helping Hands, a worthy local charity. Also funds were allocated for our next charitable theatre production. A farce called ‘Drinking Habits’ scheduled for late Spring 2026.
Andante International Choir is the only choir in the Costa Blanca community devoted to sacred choral works and classical pieces. They meet in Los Montesinos at Calle San Antonio, 4 on Thursday nights from 7.15pm until 9pm. All are welcome to join them. They especially need tenors and basses. The Costa Blanca Singers are delighted to announce the dates and venues for this month’s performances. There’s plenty to choose from so please do pop along and enjoy the fun. Crescendo International Choir: Do you like to sing? Every Monday evening Crescendo International Choir rehearses and we welcome new members. No previous experience required. Melody Makers Singing Group Quesada is an international, mixed singing group who sing a variety of music genres, from the 60s to modern day. We give lots of performances throughout the year and raise lots of money for local charities along the way. Rojales Pantomime Group: The clock is ticking and we are erecting the flats, connecting the backdrops, dressing the stage, organising large scenery pieces and props, pressing and filling the racks with our sparkly costumes, as the technical team wire up for sound, lighting and music. It’s all go go go! Tickets are literally selling like hotcakes for our 2025 Production of Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre, San Fulgencio on 11th, 12th and 13th December 2025. You really don’t want to miss this show which will have you laughing, singing, booing the villains and cheering the goodies and having a fun few hours. The Stagestruck Players are busy performing regular Murder Mysteries with events currently booked up to March 2026. The end of October and early November was a busy time with 2 Halloween events and a new script only 4 days later. However, it was worth the effort put in because we raised a total of 1027€ for that week alone and we are hoping to increase our annual donation to the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Asociation to 6000€ this Christmas. We have been working hard on our Christmas Panto themed script for this month’s events; a show not to be missed! Studio32 wish to give huge thanks to all that went along to support them at the recent EXPO event which was held in Torrevieja. With hundreds of people attending the two day event, many visited the nominated area set aside for Studio32. They were warmly greeted by members showcasing costumes from some of their previous shows. The cast were on hand to talk to the public, answer questions and make available any Information for those interested in all aspects of musical theatre.
