We had no idea what to expect, especially with a three year old who has never managed to sit through a whole film, let alone a full production. All three generations agreed that it was FANTASTIC. The costumes, the cast, the make-up, choreography, direction..... I could go on and on. Little princess did not move, she was transfixed and loved every minute of it! In fact so much, that when it had finished she said she wanted to see it again - immediately. I think she thought it was like a DVD, you could just repeat at will! There was a rumour that it may be repeated later in the year and I really hope it is as we will be first in line at the box office. Well done to all involved. Little princess would now like to see Beauty and The Beast please - just saying! We are so lucky to have such a range of groups along the coast bringing quality productions for all ages and genres, check out Benny Davis' Stage Diary on page 38 to find out more.

It has been a pretty hectic month both professionally and socially. We have been very busy producing the Spring / Summer Professionals magazine which you may well have already picked your copy up by now, as well as the usual monthly deadlines. On the plus side I am very pleased to welcome on board Lou who will be covering the area south of Torrevieja to San Javier.
On the social front at the beginning of May we had a whole weekend of celebrating a friend's big birthday, with another big birthday in Benidorm towards the end of the month. More recently we had another friend's birthday but this was celebrated in a more refined manner! I have discovered that the older I get the longer it takes me to recover from the over indulgence of celebrations!
It's not long until we are off to Mojacar for a weekend break and I am really looking forward to that. We have been before but usually out of season so I'm expecting it to be a lot busier, I just hope the weather is good for us.
The fiesta season is almost upon us yet again with Rojales Fiestas at the end of June. On past occasions I haven't bothered to attend but this year I have no choice in the matter - one of my best friends from the UK has booked to come over for that weekend to celebrate her 50th birthday along with 14 of her friends. So accept my apologies way in advance if you happen to bump into a rowdy bunch of Geordie lassses over that weekend...... Michelle.
