As the nights draw in most of us will be now looking towards Christmas in one way or another. Having grandchildren makes me enjoy it all over again. Seeing them excited for the festivities is a joy.
This year again I have promised myself not to over buy in the food department as we do not need to be finishing off all those Christmas must haves at Easter!
With all the shows and fairs I am sure that I will find the perfect present for everyone. It is lovely to buy something local and personal for them rather than more plastic from some global online conglomerate.
Now do I dig out the duvet, snuggly pjs and jumpers or is that tempting fate? On the other hand I do not want to be caught out if we do get a cold spell - she says sitting in shorts and a t-shirt!

Now the clocks have changed we have the darker mornings and nights upon us although still experiencing very mild weather for this time of year. Let's hope it doesn't mean that we are going to have a winter that lasts long into next year.
Remembrance Day is coming up very soon so buy your poppy and wear it with pride...lest we forget.
Everything is now focusing on the upcoming festive period and although it is hard to believe, Christmas literally is just around the corner. As I always say, I am trying to get myself better organised this year....one year it might actually happen, although all the best plans just never seem to materialise.
The Autumn / Winter Focus on Professional Services will be coming out at the end of this month so I will be a very busy bee for the next few weeks finalising everything.
