Falafel Indian Style

400g chick peas
2 tbspn garlic paste
2 tbspn ginger paste
1 med onion chopped
1 tspn chilli powder
1 tspn coriander powder
1 tspn cumin powder
Fresh coriander
Salt
2 tbspn chickpea flour
Oil to shallow fry.

Method:
Blend the chickpeas, garlic, ginger, onion, fresh coriander and
spices until almost smooth.
Add 2 tbspn of chickpea flour and mix well. Divide into balls about golf ball size, slightly flatten them.
Heat a frying pan, add the oil and shallow fry until both sides are golden brown on low/med heat. Make sure they are cooked inside. Serve hot with raita and salad.

Raita recipe:
- A cup of natural yoghurt
- Small cucumber chopped
- Small onion chopped
- A firm tomato chopped
- Salt & Sugar as required
- Tbspn of mint sauce
- Little lemon juice

Method:
Mix all ingredients together and garnish with fresh coriander.
