Improve your business with the CBBA

The Costa Blanca Business Association was established more than 15 years ago by 16 local independent business people who recognised the need for an effective networking and referrals group.

The concept is simple. Word of mouth is one of the more effective ways to get business. If you’re a tradesman for example, and you do a great building job for a customer, and they now need some painter and decorator, saying “I know someone who you can trust, I’ll stake my reputation on it” carries enormous weight. Well, now imagine you’re in a group of like-minded businesses where you know and trust a whole range of business - this is the CBBA.

Unlike networking groups, the CBBA specifically requires its members to actively promote other members when the opportunity arrives. It’s not unusual for a number of our members to do work for the same person: a new kitchen leads to electrical work, leads to plumbing, building, carpentry and decorating.

The members meet every 2 weeks in and actively share the work they have found for each other. On average, each member receives 2-3 ‘referrals’ (business opportunities) every month. So you can imagine that’s a lot of business opportunities exchanged.

CBBA is run as an association with its statues and rules and is registered in Spain. Members are accountable to each other and can deal with any complaints - although this is very rare indeed. CBBA on allows 1 member per business category so there’s no internal competition.

All in all it’s a great way to GROW YOUR BUSINESS. At this time, we have vacancies for a number of business types including: Carpenter, Toldos supply and install, printer, vehicle repair and a number of others.
