Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of spiritual or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. Now would be a great time to contact Philip on 638 734 285 and he will be happy to give you all the details about the choir. They rehearse on a Monday morning 10:45 to 13:00 and will be happy to welcome you.

Caprice Ladies Choir will be presenting two performances of their concert 'One moment in time' this month - Wednesday 8th February at 7.30pm in the Salon Blau, Calpe and Saturday 11th February at 5pm in the Centro Social, Xalo (old Black Apple). Careline Theatre: With another successful Panto behind them and the delivery of their new seating having arrived, the group are now preparing for their next production, the classic, Mary Poppins. Watch out for dates for May to be released soon.

Sadly we lost three members last year and with several more living in UK unable to join as often as in the past, we are actively seeking new members. pheonix dancers stage femalefocusonline feb23 1The Phoenix Dancers returned to the Studio in January to start preparing for local events in Calpe. They could soon be warming your heart for Valentine’s Day or shimmying into Carnival. They will certainly be learning new routines for their own charity show in the Spring. So, if you ever fancied starting to dance as a new hobby, want to revisit the joy of dance from your younger years, or are looking to bring existing skills to a new group, there couldn’t be a better time join! Volunteers are also welcome to assist with costumes, props, and media production. rojales panto stage femalefocusonline feb23Rojales Pantomime Group’s OSCAR NIGHT After the resounding success of their pantomime, Treasure Island, the cast voted for the best actor and supporting actor. At the after panto party John Fagg, Group President, awarded Oscars to best actor, Dave Hart, the magnificent Dame, and supporting actor, Len Beedham, a very funny Polly Parrot. Well done to both, but very well done to all the cast and crew for such a fantastic pantomime. A great night was had and enjoyed by all....... oh yes it was!!
