The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir presented its charity Summer Concerts in the Caves to standing ovations and loud appreciative acclamation. The choir sang new songs and old favourites, and even sang in Welsh. The choir's in-house A Capella sextet, AdHoc, performed a complex arrangement of Mr Blue Sky with panache and precision. Young guest performers Florrie and Jasmijn impressed with their mature interpretations of songs from Chess. The encore was a resounding lively rendition Rhythm of Life. The choir will resume regular rehearsals in September, but do continue on a more casual basis through summer. Follow them on YouTube and Facebook, and visit their website
www.costablancamalevoicechoir.com for more information and contact details.

javea players femalefocusonline june24

Jávea Players: Their autumn production – 18th - 23rd November – is 'The Long Road'. It was written by Shelagh Stephenson as part of a collaboration with prisoners in theatre workshops. Danny is fatally injured in a random attack. His mother's determination to understand the atrocity brings her face to face with his killer and forces the family to confront the bitter senselessness of their loss. It is a gritty, emotional, thought-provoking and darkly humorous play.

Another invitation to entertain at El Bar Guadamar Park is all set for Saturday 27th July and this fabulous event will raise money for The Orihuela orphanage. All details of the day are available from El Bar. In addition to helping OO, the Costa Blanca Singers have made donations to two more local charities recently. In May, 500€ was donated to AAN and in June, 500€ was donated to ECCH. This is a very important part of the CBS, however, essentially, the group sing for the pure enjoyment of all the benefits that singing brings. Please look through www.costablancasingers.com to meet the team, view, FAQ & read the fabulous blogs and events details. We look forward to entertaining you at our public performances.

Rojales Patnomime Group: Thanks to the wonderful support from our audiences in December, 2023, we gave the Mayor of San Fulgencio and some of his team, together with Brenda and Lesley from the local AAN Charity, a donation of 500€. This concludes our charitable donations for 2023. Rehearsals for Dick Whittington 2024 are in full swing with the cast embracing their characters with great enthusiasm.
