THE MOVERS AND SHAKERS LAUNCH THEIR
“AN EXTRA DAY, EXTRA CARE, APPEAL”

What will you be doing on 29th February, this year?
Working? Shopping? Baking? Caring? Fund Raising?
The Association of Movers and Shakers are launching their “An Extra Day, Extra Care, Appeal”.
How about organising a fundraising event such as afternoon tea, raffle or some other activity to raise 120€ for a worthwhile cause.
In some local bars we have raffles available – for 1 Euro a ticket – you can win 20€ to spend on your extra Leap Year Day. Just choose a number and add your telephone number in the box. (The winner will be drawn on 29th February).
120€ is enough to pay for a night’s respite care, or time during the day, for a carer’s loved one to be looked after, giving the carer some well deserved respite time.
All monies raised will be used on 29th February, to provide care for sufferers of:
Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Ataxia, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease, the five illnesses that Movers and Shakers support.
