theatre song collective seated femalefocusonline june24A brand new show choir, called "TheatreSong Collective", will be making their debut at the Ondara Theatre on Thursday 27th June with a concert entitled "Broadway Chronicles".

The group's Musical Director, Philip Ashley, explained that the show choir will be focused on singing musical theatre numbers. Apart from listening to the full choir the audience will also be able to enjoy some solos, duets and smaller group numbers.
The debut concert features many top well-loved songs from musical theatre through the ages from the beginnings of musicals in the 1700's through to the modern day. Including songs from The Wizard of Oz, Pirates of Penzance, Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Gypsy, Oliver, Miss Saigon, Dirty Dancing and many more.
The choir is also looking for new members to join them. It is not essential to read music as Philip will provide the music and learning tracks so you can practice in your own time and at your own pace when you are not at a rehearsal.
