The Stage Diary now in its 11th year of publication is not only an important guide to what’s on in all regions but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expat’s researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.

Careline Theatre: The Company will be performing ´Run for Your Wife´ in October to commemorate 20 years since their first production of this hilarious farce. Jávea Players: Yorick the jester is not dead – he’s on the road, dying a death as he pioneers comedy called stand-up. When this fails, he is persuaded by his girlfriend to return to Elsinore and get his old job back. But he finds there have been many changes, and he becomes embroiled in Hamlet’s plans for revenge. New Cardinal Theatre Group: The group are in rehearsals for their latest variety show, ´It´s Show Time´ to be performed at the Cardenal Theatre, San Fulgencio, at 7.30pm on the 19, 20 and 21 September. Phoenix Dancers: After a successful month of shows, the Dancers are busy preparing for the Moors and Christian Parade and other charity events taking place in June. Rascals: The group donated 1,000€ to the local mattress appeal. Stagestruck: Not a Royal Wedding but a Stagestruck wedding part of the ´From a Jack to a King´ performance helped the group see sell out nights raising much needed cash for local charities. Velvetones Harmony Choir: This ladies chorus meet every Thursday from 5.15pm to 7.45pm at El Paraiso Torrevieja. They are always open to new members, so why not join them for a coffee.
